Stages of the enrollment procedure:
1. CHOOSE THE PROJECT
You can apply to the announced research projects or propose your own project.

2. WRITE YOUR RESEARCH PROPOSAL
Complete the form attached below and send it to polarknow@us.edu.pl.

3. PREPARE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
To submit a recruitment application, you will need the following documents:
- academic curriculum vitae;
- your ORCID number;
- a copy of your Master’s degree together with a supplement, or other document entitling you to study at a doctoral school in accordance with 8, paragraph 5, points 6 and 7;
- an outline of the doctoral project, a list of the candidate’s scientific achievements in the discipline in which the doctoral dissertation is planned to be realised and documents certifying scientific achievements, as well as other documents specified in the recruitment criteria (submission to the IEDS office via polarknow@us.edu.pl is acceptable).
The documents (with the exception of the outline of the doctoral project) must be submitted in the IRK system.
4. CREATE YOUR IRK ACCOUNT
Each candidate must create an account in IRK system https://irk2.us.edu.pl/ and pay the enrollment fee of PLN 400.

5. GET REDY FOR ADMISSION INTERVIEW
The interviews will take place on 4-5 September 2024. At the beginning, you have 10 minutes to present your perspective on the research project and present your qualifications. Next, committee members will ask you questions. The interview can take place in Polish or in English. If it takes place in Polish, you will be asked at least one question in English.
